Here at LOHC, individual, couples, family, group, and online counseling is available.
We utilize multiple approaches to counseling which enables us to specifically tailor treatment to suit each clients needs effectively. Some approaches may include but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client Centered Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Psychodynamic, EMDR, Play Therapy, and Christian Counseling.

Fees for Services
Fees range from $90.00 to $160.00 per session depending on the credentialing and experience of the counselor and when applicable, the family income of the client. Fees and insurance reimbursement will be discussed by the counselor when the inital appointment is scheduled.

Counselors here at Light of Hope Counseling are Out of Network providers. We can provide you with a receipt for payment, so you may request reimbursement from your insurance company.
The reason we choose to be Out of Network providers:
- Insurance companies often require a diagnosis of a mental illness.
- Managed care plans control many aspects of therapy, including the need for care, the type of therapy they will cover, and the number of sessions allowed.
- All insurance plans require some personal information in order to process your claim. Once this is submitted there is no way to ensure that it will remain private and confidential.
We take confidentiality extremely serious and want to make sure you receive the care you deserve. We are here to help you reach your personal goals and not those of the insurance companies. Ultimately, we do not want insurance companies to get in the way of the help you desperately need and desire.
Payment is due the day of the appointment; cash, check, health savings account, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
