Tina is the Owner and Founder of Light of Hope Counseling; she is a Tina Baublitz Licensed Clinical Professional CounselorLicensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. She is also a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Supervisor (AS) by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.  Some of her areas of expertise include: helping hurting and confused couples find their way; helping the person who has low self-worth and/or body image discover why they ARE good enough; helping the traumatized client become free from dread and helplessness; and helping those clients who are struggling with spiritual issues find direction through the use of psychology, theology and spiritual formation; plus much much more! Tina specializes in trauma, relationships, depression/anxiety, self-esteem, body image, attachment issues, grief, and spiritual issues. Treatment is looked at from a holistic approach: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This enables the ability to find real/lasting solutions whereas other methods may just be a temporary fix to the problem.

Since there is not a one size fits all approach to counseling, Tina draws from various treatment techniques to suit your needs effectively. Some approaches that may be used include: cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, trauma focused, attachment theory, EMDR, and client-centered therapy. In addition, she also provides Christian counseling for clients who would like to implement their faith in therapy. Within Christian counseling, an integrative approach which includes psychology, theology, and spiritual formation is used.

You and Tina will create goals and build on your strengths to achieve the personal growth you want to accomplish. Ultimately, you will experience therapy in a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment. Together lets process your situation and find the resolution and freedom you desire
